St. Anne’s church has served the people of Old Swan since 1831. The present church is the second building and was consecrated in 1890. It was the gift of Mr. Thomas Fenwick Harrison, a shipping merchant who lived in the parish and was built in memory of his father. More information can be found on the church web site.
Geoffrey Williams the Organist and choirmaster at St Anne's has produced an excellent website concerning the history of the church. It is a fabulous read that will learn you all about the church from its origins right up to the present day.
